Women Peacebuilders: A Conversation with Patricia Mouamar

This International Day of Peace, join us for a talk with the inspiring Patricia Mouamar from World Vision Lebanon.

Patricia Mouamar has been working in World Vision for more than 10 years. As Communications Manager, she oversees major initiatives and implements strategic communications goals in emergency communications and media relations. As a child, Patricia lived through Lebanon’s own civil war and understands the psychological pain and struggles of children caught in the crossfire. Today, she works closely with Syrian children living in refugee settlements in Lebanon where she has first-hand experience with girl children who have been married off at a very early age and a lack of access to education. A powerful global advocate of World Vision for children in need of humanitarian aid, she believes strongly in prioritizing the value of humanity and peace over politics, race and religion and most significantly, she believes in being a beacon of hope for people in need.

Come hear about her experiences and the stories of women and girls working towards peace in the midst of violence and turmoil.

Showcasing women like Patricia and her efforts to end violence against women is in line with our Help Anna campaign.
